Fileherald instant samples, built 2026-11-03 These CSV files are public, masked previews of the morning CSV our subscribers receive. Each holds the 10 newest records of one territory (a county and trade, or a state and equipment category), in the same 26 columns as the paid file. What is changed in these public files: - Company names (the contractor or the debtor, and a permit's owner when it is a company) are partly hidden: some letters are replaced by •••••. Subscribers and free samples get them in full. - description_as_published is left blank, and the collateral text and job description are left out of value_or_collateral and what_happened, because free text can contain names. - The lender (secured party) on UCC filings is shown in full: lenders are public business records. So are lender_type and other_lenders_on_file (other lenders still on file against the debtor: company names, filing dates and equipment categories). - equipment_year_make_model never shows a serial number or VIN (subscribers can read those in the published collateral text and at the official record). - official_record_url links to the agency's own record, so every row can be checked there. That record is the agency's publication and can show more than we deliver. - first_seen_date is the day (Eastern time) we first collected the record. - UCC filings with the same company, lender and day are merged into one row, as in the paid file; filings_merged says how many filings the row stands for. - source_notice carries the notice a source requires with its data (the State of Colorado's disclaimer on Colorado rows), so a file that travels alone still carries it. - A professional's own practice (a P.C., a PLLC and the like) is left out of these public files. Every record is about a company: records about individuals are removed before storage. Prospecting use only. Not for credit, insurance, employment or housing decisions.
