The four steps

  1. Official source

The newest records each agency publishes on its own open-data portal, collected each weekday morning.

Colorado Department of State (CDOS) · 441 new UCC-1s against companies, Oct 27–Nov 2

  2. Companies only

Records about individuals are removed before anything is stored. Owner-builder permits and duplicates go too.

Individuals removed before storage · filing agents labelled

  3. Your territory

Each record is sorted by trade or equipment type and matched to the counties, states and categories on your plan.

    Miami-Dade (county-issued) · Roofing · 189 permits, Oct 27–Nov 2

  4. Email and CSV

Only your records, newest first, each with its official link, and a CSV of the same rows.

Every weekday morning · 26 columns

When it arrives

  • Colorado (statewide): Daily: the state's open-data copy refreshes every day.
  • Connecticut (statewide; no collateral text): Nightly: the state's open-data copy refreshes every night.
  • Miami-Dade (county-issued permits): Updates most days; the newest permits can be several days behind (our run log will show the real cadence after two weeks of collection).
  • Tallahassee–Leon (new construction only): Every weekday (extracted at close of business and published at 5 a.m.).
  • City of Miami (city-issued permits): Daily: the city reloads its dataset every day (on 3 November 2026 it held permits issued up to the afternoon before).
  • Cape Coral (city-issued permits): Updates most days, as far as our first checks show (on 3 November 2026 the city's dataset held permits issued through the day before).
  • Leesburg (city-issued permits): Updates most days, as far as our first checks show (on 3 November 2026 permits issued that day were already there).
  • Our latest collection finished Tue 3 Nov 2026, 9:24 p.m. ET.

What we never do

  • We never include records about individuals: filings against people, and owners who are people, are removed before storage.
  • We never add personal contact details such as personal mobiles or home addresses.
  • We never get around a website's access controls, and we use only open-data portals and published files whose terms allow reuse.
  • We never sell the data for credit, insurance, employment or housing decisions.

If a record is wrong

  1. Reply to any email with the record's record_id (a column in the CSV), or email us.
  2. A person checks it against the official record.
  3. If it is bad, the credit appears on your next bill, whether you reported it or we found it.
  4. The fix is logged in our corrections log, on the coverage page.

Cancel, pause, change

  • Cancel in one click from the billing link in any email; within the first 30 days the plan is refunded in full.
  • A monthly plan can pause for up to 3 months instead of cancelling (email us); annual, exclusive and Team plans can't pause.
  • Change plans by email; the change starts on your next bill.
  • Exclusive territories are a quarterly or annual commitment.
